“King of the Inlet” is a series of three tournaments, and the Grand Prize of $5,000 is based on most points accumulated from the three tournaments…one fish per species – 10 points per pound. And, to make the tournament even more exciting, there is a double payout each month for a featured species depending on the migratory patterns of the fish. The April tournament paid double for Wahoo, the May tournament paid double for Dolphin, and the June tournament will pay double for Kingfish. Please note that all three tournaments are fishing for all three species of fish.

The 2010 King of the Inlet has been crowned!

Congratulations to Team Hoyt for fishing a winning strategy.  They were one of more than 50 teams that competed in the King of the Inlet series.  The King of the Inlet fishermen faced it all this year – high winds, angry ocean, an abnormally cold spring, changing migratory patterns and stifling heat all played a part in this year’s series.  In the end, consistency paid off for Team Hoyt. Check out the story about our winners in the Daytona Beach News Journal.

Stay tuned for announcements about next year's tournament dates.

Thanks to all our great fishermen and sponsors.

Sincerely,

The King of the Inlet Crew
Guy, Kelli, Pete, and Ann
